Cervical Cancer Prevention Vaccine

Every minute in the world, a woman is diagnosed with cervical cancer; and every second, one is diagnosed with genital warts. Cervical cancer is mainly caused by Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection.

For females, HPV 6, 11 can cause up to 90% of genital warts and plays a role in intraepithelial neoplasia, the potentially premalignant transformation and abnormal growth of squamous cells on the surface of the cervix, vulva and vagina.

HPV in males causes genital warts.

There are two HPV vaccines available in the medical field. One is Quadrivalent HPV vaccine and the other is Bivalent HPV vaccine. GENETICA provides the Quadrivalent HPV, the vaccine approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), European Union (EU), and Hong Kong Department of Health (HKDH). It covers 4 HPV types (6, 11, 16, 18) and helps protect against
4 HPV-related diseases:

  • Cervical Cancer.
  • Vaginal cancer.
  • Vulvar cancer.
  • Genital Warts.
External genital lesions include external genital warts and penile cancer in males.
